WhatsApp Web / A WORKFLOW WITH YOUR AGENT
Know what needs your attention.
You follow several active groups. A useful introduction, a request and an event invitation are buried between messages. Finding them means opening each chat and scrolling back through what you missed.
ASK FOR THE OUTCOME
Give your agent a clear starting point.
“Read the selected WhatsApp group chats since my last capture. Save the accessible new messages in PocketContext. Prepare a brief of decisions, requests and open questions, with source references and any gaps in the capture.”
An example request for an agent configured to use PocketContext. Reading this page does not run it.
CAPTURE ONCE, THEN REUSE
From browsing to stored context.
Read the selected sources
Sign in to WhatsApp Web in your agent’s browser. Choose the chats and date range. The agent reads accessible messages and records where older history, media, replies or expanded text could not be captured.
Give the information structure
A transcript page per group keeps the captured messages readable. Properties record the community, message count and captured date range. A separate summary page connects the decisions and follow-ups to that evidence.

## Captured messages Dated messages, with speaker labels. ## Capture gaps Attachments and unavailable history are listed here.

AN EXAMPLE OF THE RESULT
Your community catch-up
A useful brief makes the evidence and the uncertainty visible. The following is fictional reader-style content, not a live account or a completed capture.
A community organizer offered to introduce you to a potential pilot customer. The captured thread has no reply from you.
Read example evidence 1 ↗
Fictional group transcript, Monday: “I can introduce you to a team interested in a pilot. Let me know if you want an introduction.”
The next workshop asks participants to bring one customer-interview question.
Read example evidence 2 ↗
Fictional group transcript, Tuesday: “For the workshop, please bring one question you want to test with customers.”
An attached agenda was not captured. Check the original chat before relying on the schedule.
Read example evidence 3 ↗
Fictional capture note: an attachment appeared in the thread, but its contents were not available in the captured text.
THE NEXT QUESTION
Query the knowledge.
Skip the repeated scrolling.
Ask “Which captured conversations mention the workshop?” or “What requests were still open at the last capture?” Your agent can search the stored text and query page properties before reading the relevant passages.
SQL reads, full-text search and authenticated REST APIs let the agent retrieve stored context directly. The browser reader gives you published pages, properties, citations, originals and revision history.
Keep the browser for changes
Computer use can be slow and token-intensive. Reusing captured information avoids repeating the same navigation for each question. Capture and refreshes still cost time and model usage; savings are workflow-dependent.
A stored conversation is a dated capture, not a live WhatsApp mirror. A later reply may close an open request. Refresh the relevant thread before following up.
AFTER A SUCCESSFUL FIRST CAPTURE
Make the useful part repeatable.
“Each night, revisit only these selected group chats. Capture accessible messages since the last successful check, update their transcript pages and publish a short changes brief. Report missing history or sign-in problems. Do not send messages.”
Use a scheduler supplied by your agent, such as Grok Bot routines ↗. Start with a small selection, verify the results and choose a frequency that fits how quickly the information changes.
The agent supplies browser access and scheduling; PocketContext has no built-in connector for this service or recurring scheduler. Sessions can expire and captures can be incomplete. This routine has not been rehearsed end to end.
KEEP THE CONTEXT USEFUL
Readable detail, queryable properties.
These sample properties are conventions your agent can adopt, not dedicated service schemas. Record source URLs and capture dates alongside them. Markdown bodies, properties, citations and history live together in the database. The agent must verify identity matches and create links between related pages.
Capture only the material you choose. External model providers receive the context your agent sends. A citation helps you inspect a claim; it does not prove the conclusion is correct.
